We are very excited to begin crafting this book.
In some ways, the crafting has already begun. It began a few months ago with the idea for a book on experiential embryology, and we three have had many hours of conversations, collaborative editing and envisioning already. Now we are ready to put out the invitation, gather contributions, and see how the pieces might begin to fit together. An embryo begins with a cell (or two), but it’s when there are many cells priming and shaping space in community that things get interesting. One of our essential values as teachers, writers and editors is that there is no one narrative that can capture the complex choreography of human embryology. We want to gather multiple perspectives, voices, and images, to curate and craft something useful and inspiring for continued exploration.
The call for proposals opens on October 1st and will be open through December 15th, 2021. Get your thinking caps on!
